Before the ink was dry on his Jupiter real estate confidentiality agreement, the extremely private life of Tiger Woods became, not so private. Tiger Woods had already invested around $60m in Jupiter real estate if you include the $5m home he is building for his mother on Jupiter Island. People have always assumed that he was happily married because he had such a beautiful wife, and he kept so private because he was so famous and wanted to protect his personal life. Not many people suspected that he was private because he was such a philanderer and had so much to hide from everyone, including his wife Elin. All those walls came crashing down a lot faster than the walls on all his Jupiter real estate were going up.
Tiger certainly had everyone fooled, including his wife, and his caddy Steve Williams, who is supposed to be his best friend…….I find this hard to believe. Steve has one of the best jobs making well over a million dollars a year while traveling the world. Steve has never ever put himself in front of the media to speak about his boss, until now….I am hard pressed to think that television speech was not rehearsed, and for a good reason approved and/or directed by Tiger. My take on it is that Steve is coming out saying “he had no idea” to preserve his relationship and trust with Elin. After all, when Tiger starts traveling again, it is Steve who she hopes will keep Sir Eldrick from straying again.
I think that 2010 might end up being the least profitable year of Tigers career for several reasons:
- Tiger is not going to play a full schedule.
- Tiger is going to have a tougher time keeping his focus while playing.
- Tiger is going to be under public scrutiny.
- Tiger is going to be getting booed a lot…especially by women!
- Tiger has lost some huge multi million dollar contracts….eg. American Express
9,700 square foot of Jupiter Island real estate Tiger and Elin are building. Tiger Woods made all contractors sign a confidentiality agreement before they started construction. Back in 2006, Tiger and Elin purchased this Jupiter Island 12 acre parcel for a reported $44.5 million dollars….that was before construction even began. The old house that was torn down before construction began was 11,000 square feet.

I do not think Tiger would be able to recover from his present predicaments and become the Tiger we once knew. however,if he does i would consider him to be the greatest athlete of all time even though in my opinion air Jordan is the undisputed athlete of all time.
Tiger is certainly a gifted athlete, forced at an abnormally young age into a golf prodigy. It’s too bad that he was not brought up with the moral values expected of athletic stars, and that he fell so far so fast. He will never regain the ability to dominate in professional golf, and will continually fight his inner urges. His self-confidence is weak and diminishing with each failure to win, because as Tiger had said “I only play to win”. He has nothing more to prove, especially to the black community or the world of golf, and he can live very comfortably the rest of his life as the richest golfer in history. I, and many others, have personally no use for Tiger as a person, much less any admiration for him as a father or a husband. He is on the way out of the limelight, and the only way to earn big bucks ten years from now is to collaborate in writing his memoirs in a book such as “Tiger Talks”. I’m told that Tiger has no tolerance for personal criticism. To that I say “Tiger, you suck”.
